Steps to recover Bigpond mail password
1. Visit Telstra website in web browser
2. Go to support option
3. Click Telstra mail
4. Select recover my password
5. Type your Bigpond email address ends with “@bigpond.com”,” @bigpond.net.au” and “@telstra.com”
6. Click continue
7. Choose recovery method email address or registered number
8. Open the link sent by Telstra
9. Enter date of birth or Telstra account number
10. Create new password
11. Confirm new password
12. Verify changes through one time code
13. Click save or done
After creating new password update server setting details of Bigpond account in mail app like outlook or mac mail.
Check with Bigpond (Telstra Mail) IMAP settings

• Account type: IMAP
Incoming server details
• Incoming server address: imap.telstra.com
• Incoming server port: 993
• Encrypted connection: SSL
Outgoing server details
• Outgoing server address: smtp.telstra.com
• Outgoing server port: 465 or 587
• SMTP authentication: On required
• Encrypted connection: SSL/TLS on port 465
Pop Server Configuration details
Account type Will
• Account type: POP3
Incoming server details
• Incoming server address: pop.telstra.com
• Incoming server port: 995
• Encrypted connection: SSL
Outgoing server details
• Outgoing server address: smtp.telstra.com
• Outgoing server port: 465 or 587
• Authentication: Yes
• Encrypted connection: SSL/TLS on port 465
Update your Bigpond password with server configuration. In case you are not able to recover Bigpond password or unable to setup in mail app than coordinate through contacting with Bigpond Customer Support number.
