Beyond his primary responsibilities, Mr. Lindsey has also become active in the company as a managing director and member of the board of directors since 2017, contributing to the company’s strategic direction.

A career trajectory that included several other notable accomplishments, Mr. Lindsey founded Digital Home Communications (DHC) LLC in 2000 before his tenure at LiveView Technologies. He served as the founder and chair for over a decade. During this time, he led his privately held startup company in research and the development, engineering and manufacturing of home automation system hardware and software for homeowners. From 2006 to 2010, Mr. Lindsey also garnered success in his leading role as the executive vice president of engineering and research and development and as the chief technology officer at i3 Technologies Inc., where he contributed to groundbreaking advancements in digital signal processing and artificial voice synthesis technology.

Mr. Lindsey’s earlier career included significant roles at Novell for over 10 years, beginning in 1996 as a software engineer. He then became an engineering manager, senior engineering manager and senior engineering consultant. These experiences laid the foundation for his expertise in technology integration and problem-solving.

In preparation for his future, Mr. Lindsey received a bachelor’s degree in electronic and information technology with a focus on computer science, digital systems and electronics from Brigham Young University in 2004. His education has been instrumental in shaping his technical acumen and innovative mindset. Mr. Lindsey is also a certified IPC trainer for IPC 610 and J-STD 001 standards and holds credentials as a certified Novell engineer.

A professional journey marked by significant achievements, Mr. Lindsey secured eight U.S. patents and co-invented the Mobile Security Unit (MSU), a product that began its development journey in a garage. This innovation has gained recognition for creating an entirely new technology segment; off-grid rapid-deployable physical security technology.

Throughout his career, Mr. Lindsey has received numerous accolades for his contributions to the technology field. In 2007, he received the Innovation of the Year award from Utah Business at the Utah Innovation Awards. He was also recognized by Utah Business as the CTO of the Year in 2024 and was inducted into the Silicon Slopes Hall of Fame as the CTO of the Year.

As a co-founder of LiveView Technologies (LVT), Mr. Lindsey was instrumental in the company’s rapid growth achieving many industry accolades including multiple years on the Inc 5000 Fastest Growing Companies in the World, Deloitte Technology Fast 500, The Software Report Top 100 Software Companies in the World, and other national publications.
