Since joining the company in 2024, he has been instrumental in advancing artificial intelligence with machine learning and generative AI within the organization. His role primarily involves advisory responsibilities, focusing on building business and developing collaborative solutions with partners, such as NVIDIA, Amazon Web Services and Microsoft. Cognizant’s AI product, Cognizant Neuro AI, has benefited from Mr. Singh’s expertise in product development, leading to the release of version 3.2 based on multi-agentic architecture.
Prior to his tenure at Cognizant, Mr. Singh was a Senior Principal Consultant at Software AG from 2020 to 2024, where he played a pivotal role in increasing awareness about Generative AI and Artificial Intelligence with Machine Learning. The Cumulocity, an IoT solution product of Software AG, had an AI/ML based anomaly detection component. Mr. Singh worked in the team which developed the Genrerative AI capability in the Software AG’s flagship product webMethods.ai. The webMethods product with its super iPaaS adapter was valued at $2.8 billion when this product of Software AG was acquired by IBM. Before this, he served as a Senior Solution Architect at Acuity Systems LLC from 2017 to 2020, where he focused on machine learning applications for anomaly detection.
Mr. Singh’s career also includes significant contributions as a senior webMethods architect at Leidos from 2013 to 2017 and Science Applications International Corporation Inc. from 2008 to 2013. He began his journey in the United States as a senior VAX/VMS consultant at ACE Technologies Inc. in 1997 after immigrating from India, where he worked as a deputy manager at Essar Steel from 1992 to 1996. His early career involved automating a steel plant with a capacity of two million tons per year, which included specialized training in Germany.
Educationally, Mr. Singh holds a Bachelor of Science in electronics engineering from the National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur, completed in 1992. He has further enhanced his expertise through numerous certifications, including Mastering LLMs, Machine Learning Specialty from AWS and generative AI fundamentals from institutions like IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, Dell, Activeloop and Databricks. He attributes much of his success to his focus, perseverance and joy in taking on challenges.
Mr. Singh has received recognition for going above and beyond at Software AG and Leidos. Notably, he was sent on a Insurance industry hackathon where he developed innovative solutions using generative AI for Cognizant. In addition to his professional achievements, he is actively involved in civic activities, such as volunteer for charity work, volunteer to teach Mathematics and Science to the High School students and food drives within his community.
Outside of his career, Mr. Singh enjoys flying a private plane, hiking and traveling, having visited destinations like Kilimanjaro summit, Machu Pichu summit, Everest Base Camp summit, Iceland hike and Bhutan hikes. He is also a certified private plane pilot. In the upcoming years, he is committed to collaborating with Asian and African countries to advance artificial intelligence in that part of world and explore mysteries in science and mathematics. He also envisions using AI to address global challenges, such as disease and poverty, aiming for a future of prosperity for humanity.
