During the WAIA Forum, Zoro Shao, Rokid’s Global General Manager, delivered a powerful keynote highlighting the impact of Rokid Glasses, from supporting the visually impaired and elderly individuals with hearing loss, to empowering children with communication challenges and cyclists navigating urban traffic.

“Our glasses act as a bridge,” Zoro explained. “When someone speaks, their words appear as real-time subtitles on the lens. Uncle Zhang used to sit silently during family calls. Now, he’s the one making his grandkids laugh every day. That’s the kind of human connection technology should enable.”
With a lighthearted moment, Zoro added:”Also, have you guessed it? Yes, my speech script is right here in my glasses! This makes public speaking a breeze for someone as shy as I am. I’ve actually been reading the script all along!”
As part of this official opening ceremony, high-level dignitaries, including Mr. Albert Tort Puigbet, Secretary of Telecommunications of Catalunya; Ms. Maria Galindo i Garcia-Delgado, Secretary of Digital Policies; Mr. Constanti Serrallonga, General Director of Fira Barcelona; Mr. Enric Jove, Counselor of Corporate Strategy at the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce; and Hon. Mr. Yuhong Meng, Consul General of China in Barcelona, visited the WAIA Pavilion. Rokid welcomed the delegation with live demonstrations and engaged in cross-border dialogue.
