Mr. Olds has established a distinguished career, currently serving as a project manager II at Pilot Company, a growth company based in Knoxville, Tennessee, that focuses on innovative solutions across its retail, energy, and logistics operations. Since 2023, he has been responsible for foundational projects such as the Five9 virtual contact center, overseeing project plans, budgets, actions, decisions and risk management. Affiliated with Pilot Company for over a decade, Mr. Olds joined the organization in 2012 as an analyst in store systems from 2012 to 2015. Earlier in his career, Mr. Olds was a low-voltage technician at Gallaher & Associates Inc. from 2007 to 2012. He then completed an externship at the Knoxville Zoo in 2012, which provided him with valuable experience in business interactions and people skills, complementing his technical background.

They emphasized the importance of community connection and hard work. Inspired by his stepfamily’s background in electrical work, he discovered his passion for technology during high school while working on projects that introduced him to IT and project management. This blend of cultural influences and early experiences shaped Mr. Olds’s work ethic and approach to life, driving him toward continuous achievement and contribution in both his professional and personal life.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Olds is actively involved in industry-related organizations. He has been the president of the PMI East Tennessee chapter since 2025, having previously served as the vice president of programs and director of programs.
