Americas Cardroom Pro captures Event #44 during a strong weekend for the brand at the 2026 WSOP.
SAN JOSE, COSTA RICA / ACCESS Newswire / June 22, 2026 / Americas Cardroom Pro Alex Foxen secured the fourth World Series of Poker bracelet of his career after winning Event #44: $10,000 Super Turbo Bounty No-Limit Hold’em at the 2026 WSOP in Las Vegas.
The victory came in a 466-entry field and moved Foxen into the lead in the WSOP Player of the Year race, further strengthening his early-series performance.
Foxen dominated the final table, eliminating six of his final eight opponents en route to the title. Among those eliminations was Americas Cardroom Ambassador Martin Zamani, who finished fourth and earned $191,357.
In heads-up play, Foxen defeated Yixi Tang, who collected $396,145 as runner-up. Foxen earned $594,246 in prize money, an additional $42,000 in bounty awards and the championship bracelet.
Prior to winning Event #44, Foxen had already posted two final-table appearances during the 2026 WSOP. He finished fourth in Event #7: $25,000 Heads-Up No-Limit Hold’em Championship for $300,000 and placed fifth in Event #28: $600 Deepstack Mixed No-Limit Hold’em; Pot-Limit Omaha for $55,305.
Foxen entered the series as one of poker’s most accomplished tournament competitors. He became the first player to win back-to-back Global Poker Index Player of the Year honors in 2018 and 2019 and has accumulated multiple high-profile victories throughout his career.
His résumé includes a $4.56 million win in the 2022 WSOP $250,000 Super High Roller and a $3.85 million victory in the 2024 Triton Main Event at WSOP Paradise.
Zamani also recorded a productive weekend in Las Vegas. He finished in 50th place for $20,088 in Event #42: $10,000 Big O Championship, while competing simultaneously in Event #44.
Americas Cardroom Pro Chris Moneymaker is also representing the brand during the series. The 2003 WSOP Main Event champion remains one of the most influential figures in poker history.
With Foxen leading the Player of the Year standings and multiple Americas Cardroom representatives making deep runs, the brand continues to maintain a strong presence at the 2026 World Series of Poker.
