Mr. Hobbi’s tenure as an information technology faculty member at Higher Colleges of Technology between 2004 and 2010 further solidified his commitment to education. From 1997 to 2000, he was a principal consultant and instructor at Sybase Inc. He began his career as the lead international technology consultant for Deloitte & Touche Consulting Group’s DRT Systems from 1990 until 1996. One of his most significant achievements was developing a system for the Department of Defense that saved the department $25 million within a two-year span, underscoring his expertise and dedication to creating impactful technological solutions.
Mr. Hobbi’s academic background has been instrumental in his professional success. He earned a Bachelor of Science in computer science from West Chester University in 1990, followed by a Master of Science in computer information systems from Bellevue University in 2009. In addition to his degrees, he holds several certifications that have enhanced his skill set. These include a verified certificate for cybersecurity basics from edX in 2023, several accreditations from LinkedIn, certified instructor credentials from Bowstreet Inc. and Context Integration Inc. in 2001, as well as many others.
Throughout his career, Mr. Hobbi has received numerous awards recognizing his contributions and excellence. These accolades include the Annual Thank You Award from the general manager in 2014 and 2015, the Annual Motivational Employee Award in 2014 and the Award for Transitioning Critical System to New Architecture within Budget from the Department of Defense in 2003, among other honors.
Mr. Hobbi has also been involved in various projects throughout his career, such as the Laboratory Information Management System from 2014 to 2017, Real Estate ME from 2010 until 2016 and the Ethic Review Application System between 2012 and 2013. His work on these projects demonstrates his versatility and ability to manage complex technological initiatives.
