The ‘Nitro Concepts Immersion Metahaptics’ cushion set offers two specialized feedback modes based on the telemetry data of the respective game. The immersive mode aims to give drivers the most authentic racing experience possible. It transfers a variety of racing aspects such as kerbs, road textures, gear changes, engine speed, engine noises, ABS interventions and tire slippage haptically to the driver. This creates a realistic feeling, as if you were actually sitting in a racing car.
Competitive mode has been developed for advanced SimRacers and professionals. This mode filters out noise and superfluous information in order to focus on the essential feedback from the vehicle. The focus here is on the so-called “popometer” – the intuitive feel for the vehicle’s behavior. This enables lightning-fast, intuitive decisions and can lead to a decisive advantage in the race. Drivers who use this information effectively can significantly improve their lap times and optimize their performance.
