(“NuRAN” or the “Company”) (CSE:NUR)(OTCQB:NRRWF)(FSE:1RN), a leading supplier of mobile and broadband wireless infrastructure solutions, is pleased to announce that it has received authorization from the approval committee for its infrastructure license to operate telecom sites in the Democratic Republic of The Congo (“DRC”). The authorization was confirmed through the issuance of the license fee invoice, which has now been settled.
This milestone marks the culmination of a rigorous process involving extensive analysis and consultation with the DRC authorities. The license application was originally announced on November 16, 2023, and is similar in nature to the Category 1 License obtained in Cameroon, announced on October 17, 2023.
The license award was the final condition for the drawdown of the portion related to DRC of the the US $5M Loan Facility for Energy Inclusion (“FEI”), managed by Cygnum Capital (“Cygnum”). NuRAN is currently working with the Cygnum team to complete the final documentation, with drawdown expected within the next seven days. The Company will provide an update once the process has been finalized.
