New assets simplify character integration with streamlined texture workflows, MetaHuman-compatible UV layouts, and engine-friendly formats
SALT LAKE CITY, UT / ACCESS Newswire / June 16, 2026 / Daz 3D, a leader in digital human creation and 3D content, today announced the launch of a new line of game-ready character assets designed for modern engines, interactive experiences, and production workflows.

Built for use across games, simulations, virtual production, and interactive environments, the new assets feature streamlined character structures designed to reduce setup time, simplify scene organization, and make assets easier to move between modern tools and engines.
Traditional high-end character assets often involve fragmented materials, layered geometry, and complicated scene structures that require significant cleanup and reorganization before production use. The new game-ready assets were designed to simplify that process through cleaner asset organization, streamlined texture workflows, and cleaner material structures.
The new game-ready assets support modern export formats including FBX and GLB and are designed to move more easily into tools and engines such as Unreal Engine, Unity, and Blender without extensive conversion, restructuring, or bridge-based workflows
“Production pipelines have become much more connected over the past several years,” said James Thornton, CEO of Daz 3D. “Teams are working across more tools, more engines, and more complex production environments. These assets were designed to simplify setup and make high-quality characters easier to integrate into complex workflows.”
Organized texture groupings for areas such as the head, body, hair, outfit, and eyes make assets easier to import, customize, manage, and integrate into production environments. The new assets also utilize MetaHuman-compatible UV layouts, helping simplify material setup and compatibility across character workflows.
Outfit details and accessory elements that traditionally require large numbers of separate materials and fragmented scene structures have been consolidated into cleaner unified assets, helping reduce scene complexity and simplify asset management.
The new game-ready assets support modern export formats including FBX and GLB and are designed for compatibility across a wide range of engines and production tools.
The launch also marks the beginning of an expanding library of game-ready content, with new characters and assets planned for ongoing release.
“The easier it is for creators and developers to move assets between tools and workflows, the easier it becomes to stay focused on building experiences instead of spending time rebuilding or reorganizing assets,” Thornton added.
The new game-ready character assets are available now at Daz3D.com.
