Top-Down PvE Extraction Shooter No Such Place Launches Multiplayer Demo For Steam Next Fest

VANCOUVER, BC, June 16, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ — ChillyRoom Game’s Independent Studio Crit Team is excited to announce that a public multiplayer demo for No Such Place, its upcoming top-down PvE extraction shooter, will be available on Steam on June 15, 2026, right ahead of Steam Next Fest.

The demo offers access to the game’s early progression and supports both solo play and 1–4 player online co-op. The public demo supports English, Japanese and Chinese. Part of the player’s demo progression data will carry over into the full release.

About No Such Place

In No Such Place, players take on the role of agents from the U.R.C. — Unknown Research Consortium, a mysterious organization dedicated to investigating supernatural anomalies erased from known history. Dispatched into fragmented dimensions, players must survive hostile environments, gather supplies and intelligence, and locate an extraction point before time runs out.

The operation is about to begin. Stay alert, agents.

As a U.R.C. agent, you will venture into unstable dimensions and timelines to investigate anomalous regions, recover lost information, and bring forgotten truths back to the world.

Explore abandoned military outposts, mist-shrouded research facilities, eternal forests, and frozen mountains where life itself cannot survive. Along the way, scavenge for weapons, medicine, equipment, and provisions while uncovering ancient relics, unidentified specimens, and highly classified documents deliberately hidden from the world.

But survival always comes first. Every mission ends the same way: find the extraction point, return to your Safehouse, and get out alive.

The cracks between dimensions breed indescribable horrors, but monsters are not the only danger. Rival agents, mercenaries, and deranged survivors are also searching these shattered worlds for their own purposes.

No Such Place features a flexible weapon customization system where corrupted technology makes almost anything possible.

Attach a motorcycle suppressor to an assault rifle, mount a Victorian brass scope on modern military hardware, or slot a corrupted rifle magazine into a pocket pistol. In anomalous dimensions, compatibility no longer matters.

Mix and match parts, modifiers, and effects, then see what happens when you pull the trigger.

Build Your Safehouse

Resources recovered during expeditions can be used to build and upgrade the player’s Safehouse, turning seemingly worthless scrap into the foundation of future survival. Prepare yourself before stepping into the abyss once again.

Explore Together in 4-Player Co-op

Players can team up with up to three fellow U.R.C. agents to form an expedition squad.

Through coordinated roles and teamwork, squads can cover more ground, take on dangerous objectives, rescue each other and maximize gains before extraction.
