From 2016 to 2025, Mr. McGrady served as a senior regional consulting manager at Epicor Software Corporation. In this role, he managed consulting teams across various regions, ensuring that projects met organizational standards and client expectations. His leadership was instrumental in streamlining processes and enhancing team performance.
Between 2003 and 2016, Mr. McGrady worked as a principal consultant at Epicor Software Corporation. He provided expert guidance on software implementations, leveraging his deep knowledge of enterprise resource planning systems to deliver tailored solutions for clients in diverse industries.
Before joining Epicor, Mr. McGrady was a consulting manager at Emerald Consulting Partners from 1997 to 2003. There, he led consulting engagements to optimize business operations through technology integration.
From 1989 to 1997, he served as director of consulting services at Ross Systems. In this capacity, he directed large-scale software deployment projects and managed cross-functional teams that delivered complex solutions to enterprise clients.
Mr. McGrady’s earlier experience includes his tenure as project director at Cardinal Data from 1984 to 1989, where he oversaw project delivery and client engagement for data management initiatives. In 1984, he was a senior programmer analyst at National Medical Care, contributing technical expertise to healthcare information systems. His career began as a programmer analyst at Paul Revere Insurance from 1982 to 1984, where he developed foundational skills in programming and systems analysis.
Throughout his career, Mr. McGrady has been recognized for his ability to balance productivity with personal well-being—a lesson learned during the 1980s that shaped his approach to work-life integration. Mr. McGrady’s educational foundation began with a 1977 high school diploma in data processing from Monty Tech in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. He pursued college coursework with the intention of earning a bachelor’s degree but found greater value in hands-on experience within the software industry. This practical approach allowed him to excel professionally while developing a robust understanding of technology applications.
His early interest in computer technology was sparked during high school when he chose the field among several trades offered by a local vocational program. A pivotal moment occurred when he visited a classmate at a plastics company in Leominster, Massachusetts; an encounter with the information technology manager led to his first job as a second-shift operator, with responsibilities in information technology—an experience that ignited his passion for programming and set the stage for his future career.
Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. McGrady demonstrates civic responsibility through philanthropic support as a donor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Wounded Warrior Project®. These contributions highlight his dedication to giving back to the community.
In his personal life, Mr. McGrady values family connections. He enjoys spending time with loved ones, his middle son, who works in medical billing software and owns a home. His oldest son manages a Barnes and Noble café in Vermont. In contrast, his youngest son recently purchased a home and is a retail store manager on the western side of Massachusetts. He is also a proud grandfather to one granddaughter and two grandsons.
Family ties extend further with two half-sisters and a half-brother, as well as five local siblings on his wife’s side who frequently participate in family activities together.
Outside of work, Mr. McGrady pursues interests such as golf, pontoon-boat fishing with his wife, hunting, car shows, traveling with his wife, visiting wineries, and barbecuing—activities that reflect his appreciation for leisure and quality time.
