In her current capacity as a project manager at Fiserv since 2024, she has played a pivotal role in the commercial payments division, collaborating with prominent clients such as McDonalds, Home Depot and eBay.
Among a range of responsibilities, Ms. Yen is active in designing and developing information technology products, creating and selling software solutions to merchants, and delivering innovative projects within the alternative payments department. She is tasked with defining, analyzing and documenting product vision and requirements while communicating these details to management, business and technical staff. She also manages product line performance throughout its lifecycle, coordinates product priority decisions with cross-functional teams, and ensures effective communication regarding product lines both internally and externally. Among other requirements as a product manager, Ms. Yen oversees product development processes for market readiness and manages the product development roadmap and improvement strategies.
Before joining Fiserv, Ms. Yen served as a senior consultant (product owner) at Infosys from 2021 to 2024. During this tenure, she was instrumental in the Charles Schwab TDA merger project, where she conducted comprehensive gap analyses between Schwab’s and TDA’s trading platforms. Ms. Yen’s work involved identifying necessary changes and implementing modifications to ensure seamless integration while solidifying her expertise at the intersection of information technology and finance.
In 2021, Ms. Yen also contributed her consulting skills to the Iacocca Institute at Lehigh University. That same year, she worked as a researcher for the International Labour Organization on campus, contributing to initiatives in labor economics. Also in 2021, Ms. Yen was a risk analyst at Shift4 Payments, a publicly traded leader in commerce-enabling technology.
From 2018 to 2019, Ms. Yen served as a finance assistant on the United Nations Mine Action Service Fundraising Tool in New York City. In this role, she helped develop a user-friendly online fundraising tool that improved accessibility for donors worldwide. Ms. Yen’s earlier experience included roles as a staff accountant and business analyst at Eni in New York City from 2013 to 2018, and as a finance administrative assistant at the United Nations Development Programme in Central Asia between 2010 and 2012. These formative years provided her with foundational expertise in finance that would underpin her later achievements.
Ms. Yen graduated with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration, magna cum laude, from American University of Central Asia in Bishkek in 2005. She also pursued pre-graduate program coursework at Pace University in New York City in 2010 and continuing education coursework at Zicklin School of Business in New York City in 2014. Ms. Yen furthered her studies by receiving a Master of Business Administration in 2020 and global villager coursework in international/global studies in 2021 from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and earned an advanced certificate in program management with a focus on business administration, management and operations from Cornell University in 2022.
In addition to her formal education, Ms. Yen has received numerous credentials, beginning with a level one financial modeling certificate through Adventis in 2020. Among other professional designations, she became a certified scrum product owner from the Scrum Alliance in 2024 and received the Google project management professional certificate from Coursera in 2024.
Beyond her professional roles, Ms. Yen is deeply engaged with civic organizations and mentorship initiatives. She was invited to join the Wall Street Financial Forum at Lehigh University and, two years ago, participated in a gathering at the New York Stock Exchange focused on career advancement opportunities for members. Today, she remains committed to supporting students and recent graduates through mock interviews, career promotion assistance and referrals within her company. Among other civic involvement, Ms. Yen is a presenter for the NGO CSW65 Virtual Forum (United Nations Commission on the Status of Women).

Ms. Yen’s passion for numbers began early. Excelling in mathematics led her to major in finance and accounting. Ms. Yen’s transition into payments was driven by an interest in transparency and transaction speed, compared with complex trading systems.
Looking ahead, Ms. Yen aspires to move into a product management role and remains open to opportunities within Fiserv. Her goal is to shift the focus toward conceptualizing products, understanding their design, identifying customer benefits and defining target audiences, with the eventual aim of stepping into a directorial role in the payments industry.
