Prior to his current position, Mr. Negretti served as an engineering specialist at Convergint from 2023 to 2025, where he made significant contributions to the company’s technical operations. He earned a strong reputation for service excellence, consistently delivering high-quality results, receiving numerous recognitions and positive client feedback, and maintaining a record of zero complaints. His performance and impact were further recognized through his feature in Convergint Magazine in 2025, where his work was highlighted during an international exposition in Oceania.
In 2023, Mr. Negretti worked as a tester II in semiconductor product validation at UST, supporting projects for Intel. In this capacity, he was involved in the validation of advanced semiconductor systems, performing assembly and testing of x86 and GPU-based platforms. He executed validation procedures across both Windows and Linux environments and utilized specialized test and measurement equipment, including oscilloscopes, DAQ systems and digital multimeters (DMM). His work contributed directly to ensuring product reliability, performance and compliance with industry standards prior to release in a highly demanding silicon validation environment.
Between 2019 and 2023, Mr. Negretti led his own consulting business, MN Security, where he provided specialized guidance within the electronic security sector. Through this initiative, he contributed to the professional development of industry peers by organizing training sessions and technical webinars, further reinforcing his role as a knowledge resource within the field.
From 2017 to 2019, Mr. Negretti served as a lead technical support engineer at Dahua Technology Co., Ltd. in Argentina, where he became the country’s primary technical reference within the organization. His expertise led to advanced training opportunities, including specialized programs in China. He was also selected to represent Argentina at ISC West 2018 in Las Vegas, one of the most prominent global security industry events, underscoring his technical leadership and international recognition. From 2010 to 2016, Mr. Negretti held progressively responsible roles at Acceso Deteccion e Ingenieria C.A., where he advanced from resident engineer to automation manager. In these roles, he led system installations, directed automation projects and coordinated technical teams, building a strong operational and leadership foundation within the electronic security field.
Mr. Negretti began his professional journey as a programmer analyst, developing a solid foundation in software development and systems analysis through early roles at Caja de ahorros de profesores de la Universidad del Zulia C.A.P.R.O.L.U.Z. from 2007 to 2008 and Servicios R&H C.A. in 2009. He later joined Banco Occidental de Descuento in 2010, where he further strengthened his expertise working with enterprise-level systems and programming environments.
Mr. Negretti’s academic background has been instrumental in shaping his technical capabilities. He earned a master’s degree in mobile business and applications design from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain, in 2014, and holds an engineering degree in computer science from Universidad Rafael Belloso Chacín in Maracaibo, Venezuela, obtained in 2010. His academic training in programming laid the foundation for his career, later integrating with hands-on experience in the development and implementation of advanced security technologies, including intelligent surveillance and access control systems.
