His earlier career included positions such as engagement architect at Sun Microsystems from 2005 to 2007 and IT infrastructure consultant at Electronic Data Systems from 2002 to 2005. He began his professional journey as a systems analyst at Light from 1998 to 2000.
Educationally, Mr. Ferreira holds a Bachelor of Arts in administration from Faculdade de Cidade, completed in 2002. He furthered his expertise with postgraduate coursework in financial management at Universidade Castelo Branco in 2011 and pursued online studies in business administration and management at Fundação Getulio Vargas in 2019. These academic achievements have been pivotal in his ability to navigate complex business environments and drive RealCloud’s success.
In addition to his formal education, Mr. Ferreira has acquired several certifications that underscore his expertise in cloud solutions and financial operations. Notably, he holds the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner credential from Amazon Web Services and multiple certifications from the FinOps Foundation, including FinOps Certified FOCUS Analyst and FinOps Certified Engineer. His commitment to sustainability is reflected in his Cloud Sustainability Fundamentals certification from Greenpixie.
Mr. Ferreira’s professional accomplishments are complemented by numerous accolades, including awards for excellence in sales and recognition as Partner of the Year by AWS. During his time at Oracle Brasil, he received the Oracle Club Excellence award for Latin America Division in 2015 and was recognized for Top Achievement FY15H1 in 2014.
