In this capacity, he built a product that significantly reduced the product development timeline from six engineering months to just three weeks, an innovation that allowed for accelerated development for their customers. Prior to this, Mr. Sharma held a similar position at TCL North America from 2018 to 2019, he launched six new soundbars within one year, making them the highest-rated on Amazon.
Mr. Sharma also earned valuable experience in a series of earlier appointments. From 2016 to 2018, he thrived at Sound United (now Masimo), and in 2015, he was interned at DataStax. In each role, he relied on insights gained with Accenture, where he began in 2010 as an associate software engineer before progressing to the rank of senior software engineering analyst. Finally, Mr. Sharma was named senior software engineering analyst, and his contributions were recognized with the Majestic Performer award in 2013 and the Outperformer Award in 2012.
Exceptional academic accomplishments further define Mr. Sharma’s presence in the field. He earned a Bachelor of Technology in information technology from Amity School of Engineering and Technology in 2010 and holds a Master of Business Administration from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University, which he completed in 2016. His passion for continuous learning is reflected in his range of industry credentials, which include completion of Product Management 101 with Udemy Inc., along with several courses from Lynda.com (now LinkedIn Learning), including Dreamweaver CS5: Getting Started with HTML5, Simple Android Development Tools and UX Research Fundamentals. Notably, Mr. Sharma also secured certification in Agile Project Management.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Sharma actively seeks opportunities for civic service. He has been a project advisor for Jan Akanksha since 2008, volunteers for beach clean-up initiatives and dedicates time as a volunteer math and science teacher in India. He attributes his family’s unwavering support for his success thus far, and he prioritizes mental, physical and spiritual well-being.
