Once a user shares their location on the app or website, they can see businesses and opportunities on the map and can share through social media. The user then gets rewarded through referral discounts. The Dealsby platform brings consumers to the businesses through mapping. This innovative approach has garnered significant attention for its ability to drive customer engagement and support local enterprises. Two of Mr. Wright’s primary goals in establishing Dealsby are to empower communities and support small businesses.
Prior to establishing Virely LLC, Mr. Wright spent 20 years as a pharmaceutical sales representative, working for such well-known companies as Fresenius Medical Care North America, Novartis, Amgen, Abbott Laboratories, and GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). His professional journey started at the Kentucky Lottery Corporation in Louisville, where he held multiple positions including key account manager, drawing operations manager and internal sales representative.
Mr. Wright’s academic background includes an MBA from the University of Louisville in 2000 and a Bachelor of Applied Science in finance and capital markets from the same institution in 1991. Additionally, he holds a certification in mortgage loan origination from the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System for both Indiana and Kentucky. Mr. Wright is an active member of several industry-related organizations, including the National Minority Supplier Development Council, the National Black MBA Association, the American Marketing Association, the National Sales Network and the University of Louisville Alumni Association. He has received numerous awards in his career, such as Top 5 Best Customer Advocacy Software by Tech Times in 2024, Circle of Excellence from Fresenius Medical Care in 2020, and President’s Club honors from both Abbott Renal Care in 2007 and GSK in 2004.
In addition to his professional endeavors, Mr. Wright is committed to civic engagement as a volunteer with MUST Ministries, a nonprofit organization based in the Atlanta area that operates homeless shelters, provides food assistance, offers employment services programs, and distributes clothing to those in need. He enjoys playing golf, reading, spending time with friends and visiting museums. Looking ahead to the future, Mr. Wright aims to expand his business model into other industries, particularly the medical field. He envisions transforming his technology into an application programming interface (API) — a software intermediary that allows two applications to communicate with each other — that others can lease to develop their own solutions and rebrand for specific needs.
