Before moving to the United States and joining ScienceSoft, Mr. Tsalko served as a senior project manager at Velmie LLC from 2021 to 2024. During this time, he relocated to Poland from Belarus through a skilled IT professional program. Despite the challenges of adapting to a new country, he successfully led several high-impact projects, including a centralized fiat-to-crypto exchange for the EU, a digital neobank for the MENA region, and a mobile wealth management platform for the U.S. market.
Mr. Tsalko began his career as a project manager at Roadkit, a pioneering mobile application designed for drivers, where he served from 2017 to 2019. He also co-founded Zavod Franshiz LLC, a franchising consultancy, where he served as project delivery manager from 2016 to 2017, leading efforts to introduce and promote the then-nascent concept of franchising in his country’s market. His early career included a role as a project development manager at Elyzium LLC from 2012 to 2016. Each position contributed to his growth as a leader and expert in his field.
Mr. Tsalko holds a Master of Architecture (2020) and an Advanced Bachelor of Architecture (2011) from the Belarusian State University of Transport. These degrees provided a strong foundation in design and strategic thinking, which have supported his success in project management. Architecture remains one of his enduring passions.
Mr. Tsalko holds multiple certifications reflecting his commitment to professional growth, including Professional Scrum Master II (Scrum.org, 2024), a Project Management Professional (PMI, 2023), AWS Cloud Practitioner (2022), and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (One Education, 2022). He also plans to pursue a Certification in Portfolio Management and an MBA.
In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. Tsalko is actively involved in civic life, supporting the Belarusian diaspora across the U.S. and Europe. He also volunteered in the Ukraine emergency response in Warsaw, where he assisted refugees with shelter, translation, and basic necessities. His personal interests include hiking, fitness, basketball, soccer, reading, and cooking—activities he enjoys sharing with his wife, Volha Zaitsava.
