(“Vemanti” or the “Company”) (OTC: VMNT) today announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the remaining 49% equity interest in XPLOR Technology Pte. Ltd. (“XPLOR”), the Singapore-based parent company of ONUS Pro, a leading cryptocurrency exchange in Southeast Asia. With this agreement executed by all parties, the Company has taken the final step toward full ownership.
Completion of the transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including required filings in Singapore and Nevada. Once these procedural steps are completed, the Company will own 100% of ONUS Pro. The process is expected to conclude shortly, and the Company will provide an update once finalized.
As part of the agreement, Chien Tran, Co-Founder and former 49% shareholder of ONUS Pro (no relation to Tan Tran, CEO of the Company), will join Vemanti’s Board of Directors effective at closing.
