OpenPayd, a leading provider of financial infrastructure, has joined Fireblocks Network for Payments. As the first provider to go live on the Fireblocks Network in the UK and Europe, the move responds to rising institutional demand, connecting over 2,400 users across the Network’s payments ecosystem with OpenPayd’s rail-agnostic infrastructure and built-in compliance capabilities.
Fireblocks Network for Payments unites local payment rails, blockchains, and stablecoin systems with on/off-ramp, FX, and remittance capabilities. With over $14 trillion in transaction volume settled, the Network connects 2,400 exchanges, fintechs, banks, payment service providers, and liquidity partners.
Through the Fireblocks Console or API, Network participants can now connect directly to OpenPayd’s global fiat infrastructure without the need for a separate integration. Businesses can access GBP, EUR and USD today, with up to 60 currencies available on demand across more than 100 countries, streamlining payments, treasury operations and reconciliation through a single workflow. Combined with deep liquidity and Fireblocks’ built-in security controls, including Travel Rule compliance and wallet verification, the integration enables businesses to move between fiat and stablecoins securely, compliantly and at global scale.
The move builds on a busy 12-months for OpenPayd – now processing over $280bn in annual transactions – with recent strategic partnerships including the leading global cross-asset marketplace for FX and digital assets, LMAX Group, and the first FCA-regulated digital asset exchange, Archax.
