December 2025 – JANUS Engineering AG becomes part of the MAIT Group.
With this merger, two established specialists in digitalisation and manufacturing software are combining their expertise to provide customers in the manufacturing industry with even more comprehensive support in the introduction, standardisation and automation of integrated digital CAD, CAM and manufacturing processes throughout Europe. JANUS Engineering AG operates at locations in Sindelfingen (Germany), Sutz (Switzerland) and Kollerschlag (Austria) and contributes its international expertise to the MAIT Group.
For 30 years, JANUS Engineering AG has stood for competence, reliability and technological excellence in digital product development and manufacturing. As a specialised partner for Siemens Digital Industries Software, JANUS supports manufacturing companies in designing their CAD, CAM and PLM processes to be efficient, integrated and future-proof. With a deep understanding of real manufacturing processes, its own powerful add-on solutions, sound consulting and practical training, JANUS ensures that software is not only introduced, but also used in a measurably productive way.
The merger of JANUS Engineering and the MAIT Group brings together the expertise, technologies and market presence of both companies in a targeted manner. With a turnover of more than EUR 200 million and over 7,000 customers, the MAIT Group is the partner for innovative digital solutions in product development, corporate management and IT services. Around 900 employees at over 25 locations in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Benelux work closely with their customers to implement specific solutions. As a digitalisation partner, MAIT uses the most innovative technologies from market-leading PLM, ERP and IT providers such as PTC, Siemens, Abas, Comarch and HPE.
