FORT WORTH, TX / ACCESS Newswire / April 1, 2026 / Vadzo Imaging, a provider of embedded vision cameras, today launched its HDR camera portfolio for retail applications, featuring the Falcon series (USB 3.2 Gen 1 UVC Camera Portfolio), Bolt series (MIPI CSI-2 Camera Portfolio), and Innova series (ONVIF GigE Camera Portfolio). Designed to address the imaging challenges of modern retail environments, bright signage, reflective surfaces, dim aisles, and dynamic shopper behavior, the portfolio delivers high-resolution HDR imaging across point-of-sale counters, interactive kiosks, smart shelves, and in-store analytics deployments.

The Falcon series delivers HDR USB 3.2 Gen 1 UVC camera solutions for checkout monitoring, shelf analytics, and kiosk integration. The Bolt MIPI series provides compact, low-power MIPI camera solutions for embedded retail devices, edge-based analytics, and space-constrained smart shelf installations. The Innova ONVIF GigE camera series enables large-store monitoring, multi-camera checkout analytics, and networked retail environments with PoE single-cable deployment and ONVIF-compliant streaming.

Together, the three series allow retailers and system integrators to deploy imaging across every store zone, from shelf-edge to entrance, within a unified hardware and SDK ecosystem.

Falcon Series (USB 3.2 Gen 1 UVC Camera Series): Checkout, Kiosk, and Shelf-Level Imaging

Falcon-821CRS – Onsemi AR0821 4K HDR USB 3.2 Gen 1 Camera

The Falcon-821CRS HDR USB UVC Camera is built on the Onsemi AR0821 DRPix BSI sensor (1/1.7″, 2.1 µm), delivering 8.3MP (3848×2168) imaging with embedded HDR exceeding 140 dB. Its extreme dynamic range handles simultaneous bright promotional displays and dim shelf areas without clipping or loss of detail, making it suited for checkout counters, interactive signage, and analytics-driven retail zones where lighting conditions are severe and variable. USB 3.2 Gen 1 camera with UVC compliance enables plug-and-play deployment across Windows, Linux, and embedded platforms. The VISPA ARC SDK provides programmatic control over exposure, ROI, triggers, binning, and windowing in C, C++, C#, and Python.

Key specs: 8MP (3848×2168) | Onsemi AR0821 1/1.7″ 2.1 µm DRPix BSI | eHDR >140 dB | USB 3.2 Gen1 UVC Camera | S-Mount with Fixed-Focus & Auto-Focus Options | 96° FOV – Customizable | -30°C to 80°C

Falcon-1335CRA – Onsemi AR1335 13MP 4K Autofocus USB 3.2 Gen 1 UVC Camera

The Falcon-1335CRA Autofocus Camera is built on the Onsemi AR1335 sensor (1/3.2″, 1.1 µm), delivering 13MP (4208×3120) resolution with VCM-based autofocus covering 100mm to infinity. It supports ROI-based AE and AF, Digital PTZ, and iHDR, making it the highest-resolution autofocus option in the Falcon USB lineup. The autofocus capability makes it particularly effective for document scanning kiosks, product label capture, and retail AI applications where subject distance varies and sharp focus at variable working distances is required. Available in 75° and 127° DFOV variants, with a compact 78mm × 15.8mm × 9.8mm form factor suited for slim kiosk and signage enclosures. UVC compliant with VISPA ARC SDK support across Windows, Linux, and Android.

Key specs: 13MP (4208×3120) | Onsemi AR1335 1/3.2″ 1.1 µm BSI Pixel | VCM Autofocus 100mm-∞ | iHDR Camera | Digital PTZ | USB 3.2 Gen 1 UVC Camera | 75° / 127° DFOV | -30°C to 70°C

Bolt Series (MIPI CSI-2 Camera Solutions): Embedded and Edge-Based Retail Analytics

Bolt-821CRS – Onsemi AR0821 4K HDR MIPI Camera

The Bolt-821CRS MIPI camera brings the same Onsemi AR0821 DRPix BSI sensor (1/1.7″, 2.1 µm, >140 dB eHDR) to MIPI CSI-2 deployments, delivering 8.3MP (3848×2168) imaging for embedded retail platforms. Supporting 2-lane and 4-lane MIPI CSI-2, it integrates directly with NVIDIA Jetson, Raspberry Pi, and other edge AI platforms used in smart shelf systems, in-store analytics appliances, and embedded kiosk devices. Its HDR performance in a board-level form factor makes it the embedded counterpart to the Falcon-821CRS for retailers building their own compute platforms rather than relying on USB host systems. VISPA ARC SDK provides full control over exposure, ROI, and triggers.

Key specs: 8.3MP (3848×2168) | Onsemi AR0821 1/1.7″ 2.1 µm DRPix BSI | eHDR >140 dB | 2-lane & 4-lane MIPI CSI-2 Camera | S-Mount | 96° FOV | -30°C to 70°C

Bolt-1335CRA – Onsemi AR1335 13MP 4K Autofocus MIPI Camera

The Bolt-1335CRA MIPI camera delivers 13MP (4208×3120) VCM autofocus imaging via MIPI CSI-2, based on the Onsemi AR1335 sensor (1/3.2″, 1.1 µm). With a focus range of 100mm to infinity and availability in 74° and 127° DFOV variants, it is designed for embedded retail platforms requiring high-resolution autofocus capture such as product scanning stations, automated checkout systems, and AI-based shopper analytics on edge compute boards. Compatible with Raspberry Pi and NVIDIA Jetson platforms, with driver support available for additional SOM platforms on request.

Key specs: 13MP (4208×3120) | Onsemi AR1335 1/3.2″ 1.1 µm BSI Pixel | VCM Autofocus 100mm-∞ | iHDR Camera | Digital PTZ | 2-lane & 4-lane MIPI CSI-2 Camera | 74° / 127° DFOV | -30°C to 70°C

Innova Series (ONVIF GigE Camera): Large-Store and Networked Retail Monitoring

Innova-678CRS – Sony Starvis2 IMX678 4K ONVIF HDR GigE Camera

The Innova-678CRS GigE camera delivers 8.4MP (3856×2180) 4K imaging over Gigabit Ethernet, powered by the Sony IMX678 STARVIS 2 sensor (1/1.8″, 2.0 µm) with up to 110 dB HDR and enhanced NIR sensitivity. Designed for large-format retail deployments and warehouses, it captures high-contrast scenes accurately across bright window light, glass reflections, and promotional lighting. PoE (802.3af) with a 105° DFOV S-Mount lens enables single-cable deployment across ceiling-mounted nodes. ONVIF compliance supports direct integration with existing retail VMS infrastructure. The VISPA NXT SDK provides programmatic control over streaming, HDR modes, exposure, gain, and network configuration in C, C++, C#, and Python.

Key specs: 8.4MP (3856×2180) | Sony IMX678 1/1.8″ 2.0 µm STARVIS 2 | HDR (110 dB) camera | NIR camera | GigE (100/1000Base-T) | ONVIF Profile S/T/G | PoE 802.3af | S-Mount with 105° FOV and 200° FOV | -30°C to 70°C

Innova-662CRS – Sony Starvis 2 IMX662 2MP Low-Light HDR GigE Camera

The Innova-662CRS GigE Camera integrates the Sony IMX662 STARVIS 2 sensor (1/2.8″, 2.9 µm) with GigE connectivity for 2MP (1920×1080) imaging at up to 60 fps, optimized for low-light and high-contrast retail zones. A 200° DFOV with onboard dewarping enables wide-area coverage of store aisles, entrances, and checkout queues from a single camera node, reducing infrastructure cost in large deployments. PoE (802.3af) simplifies installation. The VISPA NXT SDK enables real-time streaming, exposure and gain control, HDR mode selection, and low-light parameter tuning.

Key specs: 2MP FHD (1920×1080) | Sony IMX662 1/2.8″ 2.9 µm STARVIS 2 Sensor | | Clear HDR & Fusion HDR camera | Up to 200° DFOV | Onboard dewarping | ONVIF Profile S/T/G | PoE 802.3af | -40°C to 85°C
