Multi-flight poker tournament starts this Sunday, February 1st
SAN JOSÉ, CR / ACCESS Newswire / January 29, 2026 / Americas Cardroom today announced the return of the Moneymaker Mystery Million, an online poker tournament offering a $1 million guaranteed prize pool and a $100,000 top mystery bounty.
The tournament begins this Sunday, February 1st, with Day 1 flights running until Monday, March 2nd, followed by Day 2 and the final table. The event carries a $109 buy-in and features unlimited re-entries.
Inspired by Americas Cardroom Pro Chris Moneymaker’s 2003 WSOP Main Event victory, the tournament aims to recreate the accessibility and opportunity that helped ignite the global poker boom.
“The response to this event last year showed how much players value flexibility and upside,” said Adam Neal, Americas Cardroom Pros Manager. “We expanded the schedule to give players more chances than ever to qualify.”
A total of 313 Day 1 flights are scheduled, allowing players to advance by securing a qualifying stack in any flight. The Mystery Bounty format awards randomized prizes for each knockout once Day 2 begins.
The inaugural Moneymaker Mystery Million edition last year attracted 11,740 entries and generated a $1,174,000 prize pool. The tournament winner earned more than $93,000, while the largest bounty awarded was $103,000.
Additional marquee events this Sunday include the final Day 1 flights of the Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms and the first Punta del Este Satellite awarding packages to the Enjoy Poker Series Main Event in Uruguay.
