Before establishing Taking Back the Narrative, Ms. Lipsky worked across several fields, spanning advertising, real estate and non-profit management. Her equally accomplished academic background includes a Master of Science in nonprofit management from Columbia University, obtained in 2013, and a Bachelor of Science in finance from American University, completed in 2005.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Ms. Lipsky is actively involved in community service initiatives. She serves on the executive committee of the Metropolitan Republican Club of New York and is affiliated with the Republican National Committee. Her support for organizations such as the Tunnels to Towers Foundation, the American Sephardi Federation and United Hatzalah further reflects her dedication to civic engagement.
An accomplished op-ed writer on the topics of Israel, antisemitism, and politics, Ms. Lipsky has been published more than 50 times in numerous publications from The Federalist to American Thinker, and Jewish publications such as Israel Hayom, Times of Israel, and JNS. Born in Manhattan and a first-generation American, Ms. Lipsky enjoys traveling, playing tennis, visiting museums and attending art and music shows.
In the coming years, Ms. Lipsky aims to expand Taking Back the Narrative by offering more programming and transforming each of her classes into separate educational tools. Her ultimate aspiration is for Taking Back the Narrative to become the Zionist education arm of a Jewish organization, continuing to make a lasting impact through accurate Zionism education. This includes non-antisemitic terminology, filling in the historical ‘gap’ during the 1,812 years Israel was under occupation, which is not addressed by most organizations, and proving that Jews have had a continuous presence in the land of Israel for the past 4,000 years, since emerging from the Semitic tribes in Judea and Samaria. Additional goals for TBTN include educating other Zionism educators and working with both journalists and government officials to strengthen their knowledge base on Israel.
What makes Ms. Lipsky’s story truly unique is that she was anti-Israel for nearly 20 years. She notes that this is due to misinformation, not only in the general media but also within the very Jewish organizations of which she was a past member.
