Irvine, California – May 1, 2025 – Synoptek, a leading systems integrator and managed services provider, today announced that after 24 years of visionary leadership, Tim Britt will step down from his role as Chief Executive Officer. Under his leadership, Synoptek evolved into an award-winning provider of IT management and consulting services.
Salil Godika, previously CEO of Synoptek India, has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Mr. Britt will transition to Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors and will remain actively involved, advising on strategic initiatives and business development.
Godika is a seasoned executive with more than 30 years of experience across enterprise software and IT services. Over the past five years at Synoptek, he has played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s service delivery capabilities. Prior to joining Synoptek, he held leadership roles at several prominent technology firms, including being one of the co-founders of Happiest Minds Technologies, a global IT services company, where he served as President and CEO of the Digital Business Unit. He also served as Chief Strategy Officer at MindTree, where he was instrumental in driving the company’s strategic direction. Earlier in his career, he spent 12 years in sales, and market development, product management, and engineering roles with U.S.-based software companies, ranging from start-ups to large enterprises.
He is recognized as a strategic thinker with strong operational expertise and a proven track record of scaling businesses, leading M&A activity, and building high-performing teams.
