With roots in Botswana and life experiences from six different countries – including Sweden, the UK, Ireland, Austria, and South Africa – Elle brings with her a rich cultural heritage that shapes both her identity and her music. She speaks five languages, including English, Swedish, and Setswana, and channels her global perspective into a sound that is uniquely her own.
Musically, she draws inspiration from various genres, but it’s in pop music that she’s found her home – a genre she loves for its simplicity and its ability to create an instant connection with listeners. The result is melodies that feel both familiar and fresh, filled with personal lyrics and emotional depth.
“I didn’t believe I had what it takes to become an artist. Maybe I was even waiting to be ‘discovered,’ like so many artists say. When no one came to give me the career I dreamed of, I took it as proof that I wasn’t good enough. But in the end, the dream of being an artist – and the passion for songwriting – became too strong to ignore. So here I am,” Elle explains.
