This initiative draws inspiration from LVMH Group’s family office Aglaé Ventures, which has made significant investments in AI startups throughout 2024. It also aligns with the strategies of tech giants Sony and Visa, who have launched initiatives on Ethereum Layer 2 (L2). Additionally, rumors suggest that Microsoft may be developing its own Ethereum L2 network.
The company draws parallels with Sony’s launch of Soneium, an Ethereum L2 network designed to bring on-chain possibilities into the mainstream. Sony’s approach of using a secondary tradable mature coin as its L2 governance coin on an existing Polkadot parachain network has set a precedent that 3body.us aims to follow.
Currently, 3body.us is focusing on sponsoring AI researchers.
