gofilemaker.de, the Oldenburg-based software manufacturer of ERP software, is celebrating its 15th anniversary – and at the same time marking a profound change: On September 30, 2025, the official gofilemaker online store will be permanently closed. Until then, customers will have the last opportunity to purchase licenses of the proven ERP software with a 15% anniversary discount.
From October, the manufacturer will be switching to a new sales concept: in future, the software will be offered exclusively as part of personal consulting and individual project management – at significantly higher prices.
Integrated ERP software based on FileMaker
Since 2010, gofilemaker.de’s gFM-Business ERP software has been a powerful, customizable ERP solution for small and medium-sized companies. The standard version of the software includes fully integrated merchandise management, customer relationship management (CRM) and invoicing – all from a single source.
gFM-Business is based on the flexible FileMaker platform from Claris (Apple subsidiary), which runs on both macOS and Windows – including mobile and web access.
The software is offered in three expansion stages:
Open Source: basic CRM, article master, invoices and credit notes
Basic: Extended range of functions for 1 warehouse and 1 online shop
Professional: All functions, multilingual, multi-client capable, multi-shop
Custom and open license for maximum flexibility
gFM-Business has been used for years by hundreds of companies in German-speaking countries – including in trade, services, e-commerce and retail. Thanks to its FileMaker basis, the software can be easily and quickly adapted to individual business processes or expanded accordingly.
The standard license of gFM-Business already allows a large number of individual adaptations: All print layouts – from quotations and invoices to labels or reminders – can be individually modified or completely redesigned with Claris FileMaker Pro. This means that the system can be adapted to the corporate design and internal processes even in basic operation.
The custom license offers even more scope, which is primarily aimed at companies that want to intervene more deeply in their processes: In addition to the print layouts, all screen masks and list views can also be adapted here and additional languages, tables and fields can be integrated. This allows entire modules to be flexibly expanded, new business logic to be mapped or industry-specific functions to be directly integrated – without having to rely on external developers. The script editor remains deactivated in this license form for security reasons, so that the system logic remains consistent, but maximum visual and structural customization is still possible.
The Open License goes one step further: it is aimed at developers, software houses or companies who want to use gFM-Business as a basis for their own developments. This license includes full access to all Claris FileMaker functions – including script editor, database structure and security settings. This provides a fully editable system that can be used and continuously developed like an in-house development – including all the advantages of a proven, modular ERP system.
Software for thinkers – without an SAP budget
gFM-Business is not aimed at corporations with unlimited budgets, but at medium-sized companies, freelancers and creative minds who value clear processes and structured work – and still want to retain full control over their data. The solution offers the essential modules of a modern ERP system – merchandise management, CRM, invoicing, correspondence, dunning and document management – on a platform that has been tried and tested for over 20 years: Claris FileMaker.
In contrast to heavyweight systems such as SAP or Salesforce, gFM-Business remains deliberately accessible, affordable and customizable – without any hidden dependencies or complex integration hurdles. Anyone looking for a solution that not only works, but also thinks and grows with them, will find more than just software in gFM-Business: a tool for clarity in the company.
Why the store is closing
In recent years, the product has developed into a complete modular ERP solution with a high level of customization. As a result, the amount of consulting required before purchase has increased considerably.

This level of complexity can no longer be sensibly mapped via an anonymous online store. In future, we therefore want to concentrate on personal advice and individual project inquiries.”_.
The closure of the online store is therefore part of a reorientation: gofilemaker.de will continue to exist as a product line – but will only be available via direct contact and consultation.
15% anniversary discount now – only until September 30th
Until September 30, 2025, gofilemaker.de is offering a 15% discount on all available licenses in the store as part of its 15th anniversary celebrations. After that, the online store will be permanently deactivated and new internal price structures will apply.
For existing customers or prospective customers who have already received an offer, now is the last opportunity to access it at the previous conditions.
