The China Council for Brand Development is a national-level institution under the supervision of the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR). It was co-founded by five major bodies: the former General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and China Central Television. With approval from the State Council and registration by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the Council is the most authoritative platform for advancing China’s brand standardization and internationalization efforts.
