Cloud security service centers now equipped to mitigate up to 30 Tbps of attack volume

Latest generation of DefensePro® X, Radware’s industry-leading DDoS mitigation platform allows for enhanced precision automation, speed and complex attack protection

MAHWAH, N.J., Jan. 06, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Radware® (NASDAQ: RDWR), a global leader in application security and delivery solutions for multi-cloud environments, announced that it has doubled the mitigation capacity of its global cloud security service network—from 15 Tbps to 30 Tbps of total attack mitigation power.

“The global threat landscape is undergoing a seismic shift. Attackers are leveraging AI-driven tools, automation, and increasingly sophisticated botnets to launch massive, complex, highly disruptive, multi-vector DDoS campaigns that are harder to detect and mitigate,” said Roy Zisapel, Radware president and CEO. “To help enterprises counter these rapidly evolving vulnerabilities, Radware has upgraded all cloud security centers to include DefensePro® X, its best-in-class mitigation backbone, to support 30 Tbps of attack traffic, designed to provide enhanced resilience against the largest-known DDoS campaigns.”

According to Radware’s H1 Global Threat Analysis, in the first half of 2025, Radware saw an 85% increase in network DDoS attacks over the same period in 2024. Modern attacks extend beyond sheer volume and increasingly target applications, requiring a multi-layered defense that can address high–requests-per-second (RPS) assaults such as HTTPS floods. The use of Radware’s AI-powered web DDoS protection across its global cloud security network allows enterprises to benefit from accurate detection and mitigation of highly disruptive HTTPS flood attacks—exceeding 50 million RPS—without blocking legitimate traffic and at a low cost to deploy.

Radware’s global network of cloud security centers mitigates attacks closest to their point of origin. This approach helps organizations improve application response times for in-region traffic, accelerate mitigation response times, counter a broad range of threats—including DDoS attacks, web application attacks, malicious bot activity, and API abuse—and comply with data residency requirements.

In 2025, Radware opened new cloud security service centers in Bogotá, Colombia; Lima, Peru; Mumbai, India; Singapore; and a second center in Tel Aviv, Israel. With these additions, the company’s global cloud security network now spans 65 cloud security centers delivering localized threat mitigation worldwide.

Radware has earned numerous awards for its DDoS mitigation capabilities. Industry analysts, including G2, Peerspot and QKS Group, continue to recognize the company as a market leader in DDoS protection based on customer reviews, satisfaction scores and market presence.
