NEW YORK, NY – May 20th, 2025 – Today, Big Bad Boo Studios announces the release of the remaining seven episodes of Season Two of original animated series, The Bravest Knight. Special all-star cast includes Margaret Cho appearing as “Cho”, Billions star Asia Kate Dillon as “Admiral Akers”, Schitt’s Creek alum Emily Hampshire as “Captain Fuzzyweather”, and Gossip Girl veteran Elizabeth Hurley as “Venus.”
The first six episodes dropped on Hulu in the US and CBC Gem in Canada on December 13th and the new episodes will be coming on June 20th. Other notable stars in the second set of episodes include Alyssa Milano in the role of “Rousa” the genie and Jane the Virgin star Anthony Mendez. The award-winning series boasts a celebrity cast including series regulars T. R. Knight as “Sir Cedric,”, Wilson Cruz as “Prince Andrew,”, Teri Polo as “Saylor”, Gilded Age star Christine Baranski as “The Dragon”, Bobby Moynihan as “Grunt” and Steven Weber as the “Head Knight”.
The Bravest Knight, created by Daniel Errico, received an inaugural VELMA Award for “Best Episode for Storytime with Drag Queens” for the episode “Cedric & the Three Ogres”. This episode features Nina West and focuses on acceptance. In addition, the series was also nominated for a GLAAD Award for Outstanding Kids & Family Programming.
Season one is available on Hulu and CBC Kids Gem, with RuPaul as the “Big Bad Wolf”, AJ McLean, Wanda Sykes, and Jazz Jennings. With the rest of these episodes, we follow the adventures of young Cedric pursuing the elusive Dragon, with his friends Grunt, Saylor, and Cho. The last seven episodes of Season two see the culmination of Nia preparing and competing in her big tournament, while Sir Cedric shares the story of his long voyage.
