Oslo, Norway – September 10, 2025. Norwegian news agency, NTB, has entered into an agreement to acquire Live Center, the live blogging platform developed by Norkon AS. The agreement includes the transfer of dedicated staff as well as an established international customer base.
For Norkon, the sale represents a milestone in the company’s journey.

Over the past years, NTB has expanded its position as a provider of visual and sports data technology both in Norway and internationally. With the addition of Live Center, NTB significantly strengthens its service and customer portfolio.

NTB already delivers media technology in Sweden, Finland, and the Netherlands. Through Live Center, NTB gains a vast array of new customers in more than 20 additional markets, including the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom and Australia.

Norkon to Focus on Financial Technology
For Norkon, this marks a new chapter. With Live Center in good hands, Norkon is sharpening its focus on building world-class technology for financial news outlets and investors.
