This year’s contribution includes the provision of a mobile X-Ray machine and covering the costs of five open-heart surgeries. This donation is part of a series of initiatives by FlairsTech over the past years to support the foundation’s healthcare and charitable projects.
Commenting on the donation, Dina El-Gazzar, Vice President for Development and Fundraising at the Magdi Yacoub Heart Foundation, expressed her gratitude for FlairsTech’s continuous support. She emphasized that this partnership plays a vital role in fulfilling the foundation’s vision of providing high-quality, free medical care to the most vulnerable groups. She also highlighted that such ongoing support significantly enhances the foundation’s capacity to expand its services.
In previous years, FlairsTech’s contributions have included establishing a pediatric room at the Magdi Yacoub Global Centre in Cairo in 2020 and sponsoring an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the same center in 2021. In 2022, the international services provider donated towards the establishment of a Pulmonary Room at the Future Magdi Yacoub Global Heart Centre in Cairo.
Additionally, in 2023, the company covered the costs of ten surgeries, including five catheterization procedures and five open-heart surgeries, at the Aswan Heart Centre. Nurturing talent, FlairsTech supported the “Fellowship Program” by training four nurses and sponsored the construction and equipping of a Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) cubicle at the Magdi Yacoub Global Heart Centre (MYGHC) in Cairo, reflecting its commitment to advancing specialized healthcare in Egypt.
It’s worth noting that the foundation is working on expanding its medical services across Cairo and the Delta region through the construction of the new Magdi Yacoub Global Heart Centre in Cairo. This center represents a significant milestone in delivering specialized healthcare services, aiming to serve 132,000 patients annually and perform 12,000 surgeries, including open-heart and catheterization procedures. The center will feature 300 beds, 40% of which are designated for intensive care, along with 35 outpatient clinics for adults and children, five operating rooms, five catheterization labs, and a comprehensive diagnostic and imaging center.
