February 2026 – A-Square Group, a leading AI solutions provider for government and public administration, today emphasised its support for deeper international cooperation in responsible artificial intelligence, in light of recent high-level engagements between India and Brazil around emerging digital technologies, including at the India AI Impact Summit 2026.
The state visit of Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva to India from 18-22 February 2026 provided a unique platform for strategic dialogue on technology, trade, and digital governance. President Lula participated in the AI Impact Summit – a flagship global gathering hosted in New Delhi – where he highlighted the historical significance of digital innovation and the need for inclusive governance frameworks in the age of artificial intelligence.
At the summit, President Lula underscored the importance of cooperative approaches to AI that support global development goals and ethical technology deployment – messages that resonate with A-Square Group’s mission to deliver responsible AI systems for public administration.
“The advancement of AI in government must be rooted in governance, accountability, and public value,” said Ankesh Arora, CEO, A-Square Group. “We welcome the growing dialogue between India and Brazil on responsible AI, and we stand ready to contribute our expertise in shaping AI systems that are accountable, transparent, and aligned with democratic public purposes.”
International AI Leadership Meets Public Administration
President Lula’s visit marked a significant moment in Brazil-India relations, bringing the largest Brazilian business delegation to India in recent years and reinforcing ties across trade, digital technologies, sustainable development, and global governance cooperation. During his interactions with Indian leadership, Lula articulated Brazil’s vision for inclusive technological progress and stronger cooperation on digital transformation.
The India AI Impact Summit 2026 – the first AI summit hosted by a Global South nation – convened global policymakers, industry leaders, and researchers to explore practical ways to harness AI for economic growth, public good, and societal inclusion. Topics included safe and trusted AI, digital public infrastructure, and collaborative governance models.

(III) Public trust and transparency: explainable models and accountability layers
(IV) Global best practice alignment: responsiveness to multilateral frameworks and ethical AI principles
“We believe government AI must be responsible by design, interoperable across institutions and respectful of citizen rights,” added Ankesh Arora. “International cooperation among nations like India and Brazil reinforces that global public systems must adopt AI in ways that serve democratic values and public benefit.”
