Mr. Boraskar’s career began at Sierra Wireless, where he initially joined as a firmware engineering intern in 2008 before advancing to the role of firmware engineer II until 2013. During this tenure, he led the development of wireless cameras that prioritized video quality control and data flow, some of the first of their kind in the industry.
Academically, Mr. Boraskar holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, completed in 2008. He also earned a Bachelor of Engineering in electrical, electronics and communications engineering from the University of Mumbai, which he completed in India in 2006 before immigrating to the United States. His education has been instrumental in deepening his understanding of data flow across networks and has significantly contributed to his professional achievements.
In his personal life, Mr. Boraskar enjoys running and has completed a half-marathon. He is also actively involved in civic-minded organizations, volunteering with Feeding the Homeless and participating as a donor within his community. Looking ahead in his professional work, he aspires to lead an augmented reality team or establish his own company.
