Prior to these positions, he was a senior manager in managed infrastructure and global technology services at Kyndryl from 2019 to 2023. He was pivotal in enhancing service delivery and operational efficiency during this time.
Mr. Venneti’s tenure at AT&T from 2007 to 2019 was particularly noteworthy. As a principal director of IT operations, product management and business development, he was instrumental in implementing software-based solutions that significantly reduced customer costs and datacenter optimization. One of his most significant achievements was facilitating substantial cost savings for AT&T during its transformational efforts. His earlier role as a senior manager of client services further solidified his ability to drive client satisfaction and operational success.
Before joining AT&T, Mr. Venneti was a senior support manager and subject matter expert at IBM Global Services from 2001 to 2007. He was also an application portfolio manager at IBM Global Services from 1999 to 2000, managing critical IT operations and strategy initiatives. He also served as a senior technology consultant in IT operations and strategy at Tao in 2000.
Mr. Venneti’s academic background is equally impressive, with an MBA from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and another MBA from Smith School of Business at Queen’s University earned in 2013. He also holds a master’s degree in industrial and management systems engineering from West Virginia University, obtained in 1999, and a Bachelor of Engineering from Osmania University in India, completed in 1997. Additionally, he earned a graduate diploma in technology and systems management from the National Institute of Information Technology in 1997. These educational achievements have been foundational to his career success.
Mr. Venneti’s professional certifications include numerous AWS certifications, a Microsoft Azure certification, and a Cisco certification, further enhancing his technical proficiency.
