Before that, he was the director of IT between 2019 and 2022 and the information systems manager from 2013 to 2019. His career at AFR Furniture Rental began in 2009 when he took on the role of IT security administrator. Earlier in his career, Mr. Singer was an IT manager at ATC Healthcare in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, from 2004 to 2009.
Throughout his career, Mr. Singer has become an expert in cloud services, including Azure and Amazon Web Services executive management, IT strategy and cloud computing. He has also been a registered user and Trustmark Security+ holder with CompTIA Inc. since 2003.
In addition to his professional roles, Mr. Singer has been an adjunct professor of computer science at Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey, since 2020. The course he is teaching includes a general introduction to Windows server environments and web technologies with a focus on platforms and systems administration.
Mr. Singer has a rich educational background that includes a Bachelor of Science in computer technology and security from Drexel University in 2011. Subsequently, he studied at the University of Phoenix, earning a Master of Information Systems in 2022 and a Master of Business Administration in management and operations in 2024. Highly qualified in his field, Mr. Singer holds numerous industry-related designations from VMware Broadcom, CompTIA Inc. and Cisco Systems Inc. He is also credentialed as a range safety officer through the National Rifle Association of America.
Remaining at the forefront of technology, Mr. Singer is an executive member of the Society for Information Management. He is also active in the Information Systems Audit and Control Association and the Association for Computing Machinery. Additionally, Mr. Singer is a young professional and voting panel member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
While balancing his full-time responsibilities, Mr. Singer actively participates in community initiatives as a coach for the Marlton Recreation Council and Seneca United Soccer Club. He also volunteers as a firefighter trainee and fire police officer with the Indian Mills Volunteer Fire Company.
Throughout his career, Mr. Singer has received numerous awards, including multiple accolades in 2014, such as Extra-Credit Expert, Help Desk Hotshot, Inventory II Wizard, Inventory I Conqueror, and Must-Haves Master. He was also named a Brainiac by Spiceworks Inc. in 2015.
