Mr. Eisenach has established himself as a distinguished expert in aerospace and nuclear engineering, as well as operational leadership, over a career spanning 25 years. In 2025, he assumed the role of Digitization Operations Lead for North America at Google, where he oversees a broad array of responsibilities. His work includes interviewing prospective team members, monitoring operational performance, managing multiple programs across various sites and collaborating closely with operations managers, program manager, partner managers and engineers.
Mr. Eisenach is also responsible for holding leadership meetings with his staff and collaborating with peer leaders across multiple programs, planning logistics to maximize throughput, making personnel and development decisions and engaging with partners and vendor staff to ensure service satisfaction. He addresses operational issues, conducts failure investigations and explores optimization opportunities for long-standing programs while collaborating and supporting the implementation of new technologies to drive improvement. Mr. Eisenach also is actively engaged as a champion leader for Google’s gTech Learning and Development Leadership series, presenting and mentoring employees and team members.
Since 2020, Mr. Eisenach has also served as Digitization Operations Lead for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region at Google out of Munich Germany. In this capacity, he has demonstrated his ability to manage complex international projects and foster relationships with diverse stakeholders. His dual roles at Google reflect his commitment to preserving human history and making information available for all through the digitization of historical books, documents, artwork and other physical offline media.
From 2017 to 2020, Mr. Eisenach was Senior Operations Manager for the Engines and Laser Welding Teams at Blue Origin. He led teams responsible for the production of advanced development rocket engines, ensuring that projects met rigorous technical standards and timelines. His leadership contributed to the advancement of propulsion technologies critical to space industry. In 2017, he worked as a manufacturing engineer at Blue Origin, where he focused on optimizing manufacturing processes for aerospace components. His efforts improved efficiency and quality within the organization’s production lines.
Between 2016 and 2017, Mr. Eisenach held the position of Spacecraft Mechanical Assembly Manager at SpaceX. He managed teams assembling spacecraft structural systems, ensuring that all components and construction met stringent safety and performance requirements for Dragon 1 and the Crew Dragon Demo 1 and 2. From 2015 to 2016, he was the Spacecraft Propulsion and Fluids Systems Manager at SpaceX, overseeing the integration and testing of propulsion systems vital to the Dragon Capsule’s mission success, including the human rated flight demo engines production.
His tenure as process quality engineer at SpaceX from 2013 to 2015 marked a pivotal period in his career. Mr. Eisenach played a significant role in the early testing phases of the Falcon rocket program, contributing directly to advancements in rocket landing technology from grid fins and Carbon Overwrap Pressure Vessels (COPVs) to landing legs. He developed a new role as SpaceX’s first process quality engineer that optimized operations across the Dragon Capsule and Falcon 9 Rocket departments. His dedication was instrumental in achieving successful landings of rockets on both land and barge platforms—an achievement that marked a turning point in space exploration history.
Prior to his work in aerospace, Mr. Eisenach was the manager for supplier quality management at E. & J. Gallo Winery from 2012 to 2013, following his role as technical team lead II from 2011 to 2012. In these positions, he managed quality assurance initiatives and led teams focused on process improvement within the food and beverage industry.
From 2010 to 2011, he was a quality assurance engineer at Mitsubishi Nuclear Energy Services, where he ensured compliance with industry standards in nuclear energy projects from Texas to Japan. As reliability engineering specialist at Space Systems Loral from 2006 to 2009, Mr. Eisenach contributed to satellite reliability assessments and risk mitigation strategies including redesigning of radio frequency (RF) switches to prevent cold welding while on mission in orbit.
Mr. Eisenach served as a nuclear propulsion engineering officer for submarines in the United States Navy from 2003 to 2006, applying his expertise in nuclear engineering under demanding conditions. Earlier roles included staff professional at Terrane Engineering Corporation from 2001 to 2002 and management analyst at KPMG Consulting Incorporated from 2000 to 2001.
Mr. Eisenach’s academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder in Boulder, Colorado, in 2000. From 1995-1998, Mr. Eisenach was a graduate and staff member for the President’s Leadership Class Scholarship program at CU Boulder. He further enhanced his credentials by earning certification in Nuclear Engineering and Power Production from Naval Nuclear Power School in Charleston, South Carolina, in 2005.
Throughout his life, Mr. Eisenach has attributed his success to hard work, empathy and teamwork—values instilled by his grandfathers. His grandfather Eisenach’s experience as a Marine during World War II taught him resilience and problem-solving under pressure; his grandfather Long’s perseverance, despite limited formal education, inspired him to pursue excellence regardless of circumstance. These influences have shaped Mr. Eisenach’s approach to leadership: understanding strengths and weaknesses within teams while fostering encouragement and celebrating collective achievements.
Civic engagement is central to Mr. Eisenach’s ethos. He is an active supporter of Dear Future Inc., a charitable organization founded by a former SpaceX colleague who is a Navy and combat veteran. Dear Future Inc. provides essential educational resources for children in South America and Africa—a cause Mr. Eisenach supports multiple times each year due to its profound impact on young lives.
Born in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, Mr. Eisenach shares close bonds with his family, especially his sister (Lisa), brother-in-law (Scott), nephews (Jett and Gunner), parents (Barry and Deborah) and stepparents (Patti and Terry). Their diverse backgrounds exposed him early on to multiple perspectives on problem-solving and communication, fostering adaptability that has served him well throughout his career.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Mr. Eisenach enjoys hiking, skiing, cooking, traveling, painting, working out, the occasional adventure race, and would like to learn how to fly an airplane—activities that reflect both his adventurous spirit and creative inclinations.
