Mr. Baity is an accomplished enterprise computer systems consultant and the main systems engineer and chief executive officer of Systems Services International LLC, a provider of computer systems administration. With a career spanning 40 years, he has dedicated the last three decades to his current role, where he has been instrumental in steering the family business toward success. His dedication to helping others achieve their goals through effective communication and collaboration has been the cornerstone of his career.
Mr. Baity’s professional journey began after he earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering with a focus on computer science from Santa Clara University in 1982. His initial foray into the industry was with Lockheed, where he was trained as a software engineer; while awaiting security clearance, he took on temporary roles within the company and discovered his passion for working with computers and solving problems. This experience led him to shift his focus from programming to managing computer systems and setting up interfaces for Lockheed and other companies.
In 1994, Mr. Baity founded Systems Services International, which became registered as an LLC in 2016. Over the years, he has built a reputation for providing customer-centric computer support services that prioritize service over technical aspects. His genuine enjoyment of helping others, adept listening skills, and ability to simplify complex concepts have been key factors in his success. In addition to Mr. Baity, the company operates with one employee and several contractors, including his son; his daughter, who holds a master’s degree, also has played a pivotal role in enabling the company to target federal government contracts.
Before establishing his own business, Mr. Baity held significant roles at other prominent organizations. From 1984 to 2011, he served as an OVMS administrator at GE Infrastructure, where he honed his skills in managing large-scale computer systems. Concurrently, from 2000 to 2010, he worked as a solutions architect at Roundstone Systems, further expanding his expertise in designing and implementing innovative solutions.
Outside of his professional life, Mr. Baity is deeply involved in his community as a minister and is currently undergoing training to become a bishop in his lifelong diocese. He takes great pride in his children’s achievements; his son is a talented musician who plays the organ and piano for various churches while also working part-time for the family business. His daughter is actively involved in marketing the business and directing choirs for different churches.
In his personal time, Mr. Baity enjoys playing chess and walking. He envisions a future where his children will either manage his company or excel in their own entrepreneurial pursuits while collaborating with him.
