Developed in collaboration with Golden Shovel Agency, their refreshed website aims to bridge the gap for existing and potential business owners and residents who share a commitment to thrive amidst the unique challenges facing small towns.
“Our mission for the new website was to enhance its visual appeal and create a more interactive experience for those exploring Faulkton, South Dakota,” said FAEDC president JoDee Bryant.
“We also wanted to make this a priority for our community and keep putting out the message that Faulkton is fun, collaborative, and welcoming; a positive message we want to deliver to everyone,” added FAEDC’s Linda Bartholomew.
The new website was designed with a spunky, user-friendly interface that’s warm and inviting, reflecting Faulkton’s welcoming atmosphere.
“I love the sleek new design that puts information at your fingertips! The tabbed layout at the top of the page makes it easier to navigate and find exactly what you need. The new design offers a seamless browsing experience,” said Bryant.
Both new and existing businesses looking to escape the rush of a major metro in favor of a slower, more enjoyable pace of a small town will enjoy exploring all of the invaluable resources that the FAEDC has to offer, from tax incentives to specialized funding. Visitors can also read about the history of Faulkton and discover how it became known as “The Carousel City!”
“We wanted to let everyone know who we are as a whole: inviting, friendly, collaborative and a good place to live and raise a family. Also, what FAEDC does and why the work we do is important for the community,” said Bartholomew.
