While pursuing his bachelor’s degree, Mr. Bloss was the founder and head developer of Zach Bloss Development, a company he ran for over five years. He also worked on campus as a help desk team member at Eastern Michigan University from 2014 to 2016. Following college, Mr. Bloss was acquired by Rocket Mortgage LLC, where he garnered several progressive roles. Hired in 2018, he was a data analyst-intern on the chatbot team. His role evolved into a data solutions analyst between 2018 and 2019, data scientist from 2019 to 2021 and staff data scientist in operations in 2021. Mr. Bloss’s tenure at Rocket Mortgage culminated in his position as manager of machine learning operations from 2021 to 2023.
Mr. Bloss has held an undergraduate degree in mathematics with additional coursework in computer information systems and business management from Eastern Michigan University since 2016. He also received a Master of Science in data analytics from Pennsylvania State University in 2019. Additionally, Mr. Bloss has obtained several certifications through Amazon Web Services Inc. and the Cloud Native Computing Foundation.
