Starting his career at Vanguard on a derivatives trading desk in 2016, Mr. Argiro quickly identified the seismic market shift towards blockchain-enabled financial markets. Attempting to capitalize on this trend, he took a role as 1st employee at a blockchain startup ICOalert.com in 2017. After helping the company achieve rapid growth to 50 employees during the 1st crypto bull run, Joseph then took a role as a product manager at Hewlett-Packard Enterprise’s blockchain innovation lab, helping to shape the company’s blockchain and marketplace technology strategy from 2018 to 2021. While building the foundation for Iron Key Capital, Mr. Argiro was also responsible for productizing venture capital and crypto investing strategies at UBS Wealth Management. In this position, he contributed to the institution’s strategic direction in digital assets, establishing an institutional quality investing approach within the nascent blockchain ecosystem.
Joseph believes his most notable achievement will be Fish Network; a transparent technology system to revolutionize private market investing by creating liquidity for venture capital and other alternative asset classes.
Mr. Argiro’s academic background includes a dual degree from Lehigh University, including a Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Finance through the Integrated Business and Engineering Honors Program. His education, startup experience, and professional career provided a strong foundation in both technical problem-solving and financial analysis, equipping him with the skills necessary for success at the intersection of technology and financial markets.
