His responsibilities include conducting research and defining real-world digital assets for the portfolio. His focus is on the systemic assets that hold real world use for global monetary movement across multiple blockchain platforms for institutional, investment, and retail monetary transactions. He owns and writes a crypto investment website on Substack.com.
Doug has been recognized as an acclaimed author since 2018. His website (douglasjboggs.substack.com), “Smoke and Mirrors…XRP and the Art of Critical Thinking” focuses on the emerging crypto and real world digital asset market. His writing is most notably known for his critically acclaimed book “Quantum of Justice – The Fraud of Foreclosure and the Illegal Securitization of Notes by Wall Street,” originally published in 2021. The book chronicles his four-year-long litigation against Wells Fargo Bank for fraud protecting his personal home from the institution’s fraudulent actions. With a lack of financial resources for legal counsel at the time, due to the global economic collapse, he represented himself in federal, IRS, state, appellate and state supreme courts where he documented the challenges facing individuals confronting powerful financial institutions. Quantum of Justice, has received high reviews for its compelling narrative and examination of systemic issues within the complicit corruption of the judicial, legislative and economic systems. The book has been redesigned and released in 2026 with an updated Epilogue to bring it forward to current financial conditions, and the evolution to AI, blockchain, tokenization and stablecoins. Doug is completing his follow-up, “The Great Reconfiguration: The Quantum of Justice Addendum,” for release in 2027. His agent is shopping Quantum of Justice around Hollywood for the movie rights to create a documentary miniseries.
Mr. Boggs is the acting president of General Construction Consulting, LLC in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1999. In this capacity, he collaborates with investors, architects, engineers, and city officials, managing award-winning construction projects, schedules, products and analyzing sector dynamics. He has owned/managed over 30 properties in numerous states engaged in buying, renting, and flipping real estate. His work extended to Texas in the early 2000’s with Boggs Development Group, LLC, where he designed and built fifteen homes using thermal insulated concrete and steel. These homes were specifically designed to be recyclable and accessible for the growing aging demographic. Despite the global economic downturn at the time, Mr. Boggs was the first builder in the development and took great pride in his innovative approach to sustainable housing. His work has been seen on HGTV’s “Curb Appeal” and Dwell Magazine. Doug has been interviewed on ABC, KQED, and CNBC’s “Money Show.”
In addition to his other ventures, Doug founded Olive Publishing, LLC, in San Francisco in 2020, serving as its creative director. The firm has published numerous books of various authors.
From 2018 to 2021, Boggs worked as a Bloomberg forensic mortgage loan securitization auditor, analyst and expert witness providing critical analysis of mortgage-backed securities, consulting case law with lawyers, and contributed expert testimony on real estate contract law and complex financial matters for foreclosure litigation.
Mr. Boggs’s academic background includes the University of Northern Iowa. A classically trained musician from an early age, his early passion for music led to his induction into the Child Performers Hall of Fame at age 14. He has worked with artists including Santana, Journey, Tina Turner, Bill Gibson (Huey Lewis), George Winston, Eddie Money, Jack Douglas (Aerosmith, Dylan, Lennon, Cheap Trick), Fred Catero (Santana, Miles Davis), Paul Broucek (Warner Bros. Pictures, Billy Joel, New Line Cinema, Fairlight), David Bryson (Counting Crows), Christopher Hedge (Neil Young, Paul Horn), and Zulu Spear. His own band, The Ring, has released five studio album projects and they are still recording together after 35 years.
Mr. Boggs’s professional credentials include general contractor certifications from the California Secretary of State and the Office of the Texas Secretary of State. He holds an MSA and is a nationally certified forensic mortgage securitization auditor from CFLSA. He is a certified Reiki practitioner and energy healer and has worked with shamans, gurus, and spiritual leaders from around the world and has held retreats and seminars in the San Francisco Bay Area and Joshua Tree, CA. Doug is an ordained minister through Universal Life Church.
Reflecting on his accomplishments, Mr. Boggs attributes his success to the values instilled in him by his parents, from his father’s perseverance and entrepreneurial spirit, transitioning from business owner to head building inspector later in life, and his mother’s commitment as a teacher and union member/leader, fostering teamwork and humility. These lessons have shaped his approach to both personal endeavors and professional projects. Civic engagement has also been central throughout Mr. Boggs’s life. Since 2001, he has periodically served as project manager for Rebuilding Together in Albany, Berkeley, and Emeryville, contributing to community revitalization efforts. He has also volunteered to serve meals at GLIDE Memorial and participated in food distribution initiatives at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Mr. Boggs enjoys day hiking, kayaking, wine tasting, and gardening. In the coming years, he plans to focus on his writing career with three additional books prepared for release and will maintain his blog on cryptocurrency and investing at douglasjboggs.substack.com.
