Drenthe (Meppel), Netherlands – 15 Sept 2025 – Digit PaxMentis, an AI-native social enterprise, announces the launch of The Dillusion Dispatch (TDD), a new editorial channel under its Bridge of Light (BoL) initiative.
TDD documents real-world injustice through black-and-white cartoon journalism – transforming lived disillusionment into visual resistance.
The launch coincides with the International Day of Democracy (15 September 2025), spotlighting a global crisis:
over 850 million people worldwide and 1.24 million in Europe live without legal identity, state membership, or access to basic rights.
These individuals are invisible to systems, excluded from healthcare, banking, and democratic participation.
A Real Story from the Legal Void
TDD is rooted in the lived experience of Captain JayR, a 61-year-old citizen in the Netherlands excluded from the national BRP system due to his residence on a wooden sailing vessel. As documented in his GoFundMe campaign, this exclusion has rendered him stateless – unable to access healthcare, tax refunds, or legal recognition.
His story reflects a growing demographic of the “new poor,” including 33,000 homeless in the Netherlands, many of whom were born in the country and now face systemic invisibility. These figures are supported by CBS Netherlands, FEANTSA, and UNHCR.

TDD uses minimalist cartoon panels to document these realities. Inspired by the work of Joe Sacco, each panel is based on verified events.
All content is recorded on Nexus Mundi blockchain – Digit PaxMentis own Enterprise Blockchain – and offered as certified fractional NFTs – allowing public co-ownership of cultural memory while supporting independent journalism.
