Ltd. from 2015 to 2017 and senior process safety and risk engineer at Worley Parsons from 2013 to 2015. Her foundational experience was built at Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd., where she worked from 2006 to 2013 as an assistant manager in process engineering. While there, she led a team of process engineers on multi-billion-dollar projects worldwide. During her tenure in South Korea, Ms. Sharma worked closely with the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy to spearhead a $10 million public-private partnership for a research and development project.
Ms. Sharma’s academic credentials include a Bachelor of Engineering with honors from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, completed in 2006. She has also pursued various certifications that enhance her expertise, including an introduction to AI in data centers from NVIDIA and AWS Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Ms. Sharma is actively involved in civic organizations. She is a senior IEEE member and serves on the board of the Worldwide Women’s Association and the Stanford Peninsula Alumni Club. Previously, she held leadership roles with BITSAA Silicon Valley Chapter and facilitated career circles for the Stanford GSB Alumni Association.
