Clara Ramírez shares embodied insight and lived experience through essays that explore the meeting point of yoga, running, and sincere spiritual inquiry.
Clara Ramírez, a yoga teacher and writer, has released her first essay on Medium, inaugurating a series of intimate reflections on spirituality, embodied practice, and the search for meaning in contemporary life.
Her opening essay delves into the raw, unfiltered process of spiritual exploration-stepping away from the curated “Instagram spirituality” prevalent in today’s wellness culture and toward something more genuine and rooted in experience.
Ramírez brings an unusually grounded voice to spiritual writing. Born in Barcelona, she spent years in marketing before relocating to Sweden in 2020, where yoga, running, and self-inquiry became her primary teachers. She has studied yoga philosophy in Bali and Rishikesh, journeyed throughout Asia and Europe, and discovered how movement and meditation can meet as one practice. Now she writes not as a guide or expert, but as a fellow traveler inviting others into an open, authentic dialogue.
“I don’t write to teach or impress,” says Ramírez. “I write to make sense of what I’m living. My hope is that readers recognize something genuine here-a reflection that grows out of real practice, not theory.”
Her essays are marked by vivid sensory imagery, emotional clarity, and a conversational warmth that makes each piece feel personal. Writing in English with the lyrical cadence of her Spanish roots, Ramírez grounds lofty spiritual ideas in the immediacy of breath, movement, and daily life. Her work touches on themes such as devotion through discipline, the body as both guide and sanctuary, travel as inner pilgrimage, and weaving Eastern philosophy into Western ways of living.
This first essay begins an ongoing series exploring how yoga and running intersect, how intuition shapes dietary and lifestyle choices, and how cultural identity informs spiritual practice-all within the quiet discipline of living consciously in an ever-changing world.
