In addition to his primary career, Mr. Ghosh served in the United States Army Medical Corps starting in 2016. He completed basic training at Fort Jackson, a demanding experience that he still considers a major highlight and transformative moment of his professional journey. Following that, Mr. Ghosh graduated at the top of his class for advanced individual training at Sheppard Air Force Base. Upon retiring from active service in 2025, he held the rank of first lieutenant and contributed as an information systems manager.
Prior to creating Hutfin, Mr. Ghosh gained experience in the technology world as a developer operations engineer at ADP, a senior Unix system administrator at Windstream and an information technology intern at Sears Holdings Corporation. Before immigrating to the United States, he began his career in his home country of India as a system administrator for IBM.
Before pursuing his vocation, Mr. Ghosh set a strong foundation for himself in his education. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Kerala in India in 2011. Subsequently, Mr. Ghosh earned a Master of Science in information systems and operations management from the University of Florida in 2015. In 2023, he completed the School of Architecture and Planning’s commercial real estate and investment program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, demonstrating his commitment to continued learning. Building on that experience the next year, Mr. Ghosh attended the Founder Institute, a program that enhanced his entrepreneurship through mentorship and venture development. He holds a wide range of certifications in cybersecurity, program management and real estate.
Mr. Ghosh is known for his contributions as a civic-minded citizen. While establishing himself in India, he supported a number of charitable fundraising endeavors. During his time at the University of Florida, Mr. Ghosh served as a volunteer leader with a Young Life. Through that organization, he offered mentorship and youth development to undergraduates.
As a commitment to his field, Mr. Ghosh has been a member of several relevant organizations. He is actively involved with the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), the Project Management Institute (PMI) and the International Council of Electronic Commerce Consultants (EC-Council). On the real estate side of his professional life, Mr. Ghosh has maintained membership in the Real Estate Information Network (REIN). He has received his real estate license for Virginia through the state’s Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation (DPOR).
Well-regarded for his contributions, Mr. Ghosh has been celebrated for both his military service and his entrepreneurial ventures. Most recently, he was invited to participate in a startup competition at the 1000X Silicon Valley event, where he received an award in recognition of his leadership in commercial real estate and blockchain technology. Outside of his career, Mr. Ghosh is a dedicated husband to his wife, Sree, and a loving father to two children, Liam and Jax. His hobbies include art, photography, reading, travel and above all else, cricket. An avid cricket player, Mr. Ghosh leads his team, the Kombans Cricket Club, as captain.
