In addition to her current position, Ms. Jahanmiri has maintained an active presence as a freelance product designer since 2012. For nearly 15 years, she has delivered UX/UI design for web and mobile apps, created user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and style guides, and contributed to branding and business identity for a broad range of clients. This work has further refined her expertise and adaptability in the rapidly evolving field of digital design.
Prior to her tenure at Charles Schwab, Ms. Jahanmiri was a lead product designer at Wells Fargo from 2020 to 2021, designing and delivering end-to-end experiences for consumer-facing banking products. She collaborated with cross-functional teams to create accessible, user-centered experiences across web and mobile platforms. Earlier, as an interaction designer from 2019 to 2020, she focused on enhancing engagement and usability for small business and consumer deposit applications.
From 2018 to 2019, Ms. Jahanmiri contributed as a UX designer at Western Union, improving onboarding flows, loyalty programs, and responsive web and mobile applications for U.S. and European markets. From 2017 to 2018, she redesigned Relola’s iOS and Android apps, creating habit-forming user experiences and developing wireframes, prototypes, and user flows for both web and mobile platforms.
Ms. Jahanmiri also held roles as a UI/UX designer at ON24 between 2015 and 2016, working across multiple SaaS products, including webcasting and analytics platforms, and as a senior visual designer at Viator in 2014, where she supervised junior designers and developed visual design for web and mobile applications. She further contributed to the automotive industry at Jumpstart Automotive Group in 2014, designing web, mobile and social campaigns.
In 2013, Ms. Jahanmiri enhanced the functionality and interface of Shaklee Corporation’s health and wellness platforms. From 2012 to 2013, she was a product designer at Self Health Network, creating SAAS tools, user flows, and branding. Her early career includes roles as a visual designer at Fund the Runway in 2012, a seasonal design/product associate at Minted in 2012, a web designer at Williams-Sonoma, Inc. in 2012 and a seasonal design associate at Minted in 2011.
Ms. Jahanmiri’s early career laid a strong foundation in design and creative practice. She served as a graduate assistant at the University of Florida School of Art + Art History from 2008 to 2011, a studio assistant at Carol G. Belk Library between 2007 and 2008 and a graduate research assistant at Appalachian State University in 2007 to 2008. She also contributed as a graphic designer at Appalachian State University in 2008 and at Darinoush Artistic & Cultural Institution from 2005 to 2006, developing visual design, print collateral and media assets.
Ms. Jahanmiri’s academic background has been instrumental in shaping her career. She earned a Master of Fine Arts in graphic design from the University of Florida in 2011, which provided her with advanced training in visual communication and design theory. She also holds a Master of Arts in industrial technology from Appalachian State University, completed in 2008, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design from Sooreh Higher Education Institute, awarded in 2005.
Beyond her formal degrees, Ms. Jahanmiri has further enhanced her qualifications through professional certifications, including front-end web development from General Assembly in 2018 and user experience design immersive from General Assembly in 2017.
