Smart support for first level support – premiere at it-sa 2025
Waldbronn, August 15, 2025: With the new Remote Control function, Consulting4IT is presenting a significant extension to its F4SD product – a special application for first-level support that automates processes based on real-time analyses and documents them automatically. In addition to the efficient consolidation of relevant support functions, the new, fully integrated function now enables encrypted and fast remote access to the workstation of the user seeking help. The resulting effective combination of live data and screenshots from remote sessions also allows the selective and focused use of AI to quickly resolve faults. The innovation will be presented for the first time at it-sa 2025 in Nuremberg.
Secure direct connection, AI-supported analysis and complete documentation
The new remote desktop function in F4SD is characterized by various added values for F4SD customers. For example, helpdesk employees can now quickly and directly establish a secure remote connection to the affected client in the event of a fault and get a concrete picture of the situation – a decisive advantage, as many users find it difficult to formulate faults in detail. The connection is established via the existing F4SD agent and uses established authentication and encryption mechanisms, ensuring the highest possible level of security and maximum ease of use. In addition, the remote access function is characterized in particular by the simple and extremely fast connection setup. Support staff can save several minutes in some circumstances – time that often has to be spent using other methods to establish a connection between the helpdesk and the user.
Another unique selling point is the integrated AI-supported on-screen analysis, which clearly sets the new function apart from traditional remote desktop applications. A helpdesk employee can mark relevant areas or error messages during a remote session and have these sections analyzed automatically and context-based by the integrated AI module. The result is a comprehensible evaluation of the cause of the fault, including a recommendation of suitable quick actions for rapid troubleshooting – an intelligent integration of existing and new functions in F4SD.
“The requirements in IT support are constantly increasing. At the same time, it should be as uncomplicated as possible for the user,” says Carlos Kohl, Head of Product Management at Consulting4IT. “With the new remote desktop function and AI integration in F4SD, we are providing a tool that relieves both sides – helpdesk and user – and ensures greater speed, transparency and security in support.”
Helpdesk employees should also be very pleased: All work steps and session content are automatically documented and can be seamlessly transferred to existing ITSM systems. This eliminates the need for time-consuming manual documentation, which further reduces the workload and saves valuable time in IT support. The resulting knowledge base can also be useful for future support cases.
A tool with a strategic impact
The new module not only reduces the time spent on support cases. It also eliminates the need for external remote maintenance tools, as the function runs entirely via the existing F4SD infrastructure. Companies benefit from lower license and administration costs, a consolidated tool landscape and more control over security-relevant processes.
In addition, the new remote function meets the highest data protection and compliance requirements. The automatic documentation of each session creates traceability and audit security – without additional effort. The generated content can also be used as a knowledge base and opens up prospects for use in future automation or AI projects.
“We are not developing F4SD in a vacuum, but based on real needs,” explains Mirko Oesterhaus, Managing Director of Consulting4IT. “We asked our customers and implemented their requirements directly in F4SD. The remote function with AI is therefore not a gimmick, but represents real added value, even a milestone for us and our customers.”
F4SD and AI – live at it-sa 2025
The new function will be presented to the public for the first time at it-sa 2025 in Nuremberg. Visitors will find Consulting4IT in Hall 7A at Stand 312, where the new remote desktop function can be viewed live and discussed with the product team.
About F4SD:_
F4SD is the versatile multi-tool for process automation and documentation for first level support: an intuitive cockpit with a traffic light system bundles all relevant information for fault analysis at a glance and offers directly implementable solutions with an extensive and individually expandable set of quick actions. The automatic documentation also eliminates the need for tedious updating, guaranteeing precise and complete ticket information. Thanks to the high degree of standardization and ease of use of the application, service quality also increases, which not only saves IT support more time, but also measurably increases user satisfaction. Each new functionality module – such as the remote component with AI analysis that has now been introduced – expands F4SD into a genuine support center that relieves IT teams in the long term._
