Mr. Sathe’s journey with Deloitte began in 2012 when he joined as a consultant. Over the years, he advanced through various roles such as senior consultant, manager and senior manager before becoming managing director. His early career was marked by a successful tenure at Microsoft, where he worked as a software engineer from 2007 to 2010 before becoming a development lead in 2010. It was during this time that his passion for agile methodologies was ignited, laying the foundation for his future endeavors in leading organizational change within the technology, banking and capital sectors.
Hailing from an equally accomplished academic background, Mr. Sathe holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Vivekanand Education Society’s Institute of Technology, graduating in 2007. He further pursued an MBA in information technology and finance at the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow and a master’s degree in management and international studies at École Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP) Business School, both completed in 2012. Additionally, he earned a postgraduate diploma in cyber law from National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR) in 2013.
To expand his knowledge and qualifications, Mr. Sathe is certified as a cloud practitioner by Amazon Web Services (AWS), a SAFe 5 program consultant by Scaled Agile Inc. and a Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and Scrum Master by Scrum Alliance. He holds additional certificates from The Linux Foundation and Microsoft and has obtained a Lean Six Sigma yellow belt certification at Deloitte Consulting. His steadfast dedication to professional growth is further reflected in his membership with industry-related organizations such as the Scaled Agile Safe Expert Group and the Harvard Business Review (HBR) Advisory Council.
In recognition of his contributions to the field, Mr. Sathe has received several accolades including the Microsoft Gold Star Award in 2009 and was listed on the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow Director’s Merit List. Also an accomplished writer, he has contributed several articles to professional journals, sharing various insights and ideas gained throughout his career.
